Katie is a fully qualified and Insured Veterinary Physiotherapist. Her passion for animal health led her to study BSc (Hons) Veterinary Physiotherapy at Harper Adams University. Katie prides herself on her professionalism and attention to detail and is a member of the National Association of Veterinary Physiotherapists (NAVP) and Register of Animal Musculoskeletal Practitioners (RAMP).
Katie is dedicated to keeping up to date with the latest professional developments and research and she regularly attends CPD to further her learning. Katie works hard to liaise with vets, trainers and other professionals, ensuring that tailor made treatments are decided for individual patients.
Katie has spent much of her life as a Pony Club member where she worked her way through badge awards and participated in area teams. She has also worked on event yards, gaining invaluable experience about the requirements of keeping horses fit and sound.
Katie has worked as a Nurse in Equine Veterinary Practice and has spent some time in Small Animal Referral Hospitals, building on her understanding of conditions that pets and performance animals commonly suffer from.
Katie shares her Mum's lovely horse, Corky, and enjoys eventing in her spare time. Her family have a Labrador called Ace, who Katie has enjoyed working alongside her Grandfather and his retrievers. These personal interests have helped Katie become a well-rounded, effective Veterinary Physiotherapist with a broad interest in many aspects of rehabilitation.
